Hello,
It's very simple, you can do follow my suggestion below:
1. You should create a new module (html custom module)
2. Insert your logo image into your module above
3. Assign your module to position logo and then save it with show title: NO
Then go to the front-end and refresh your page, it should appear!
About double size, you must edit your css:

What does Article QScroll do
if i unpublish that module then the orange banner gets removed. ??? please advise.
I can not change the demo slide show images either to use my own i change the slide image but nothing happen.
