Hi,

Firstly you need install Russian language package for Joomla, then create Content Language in Language Manager if you are using Joomla 2.5.

Secondly you need install Russian language package for VirtueMart 2.0 if not installed or not existed yet

Thirdly, choose Russian to be default front-end language.

You can go to docs.joomla.org and virtuemart.net to read more about these things.
