The template looks quite different

Downloaded the template and the installation process went smoothly.
The final result looks quite different from what was as a sample. ( joomla.data-lab.biz )
If we can get just a quick hint what and why happened.

Hi,
As I see you did not asign this template (or set it) to default template. Current template in your site is Beez5.
Please go to Extension manager --> Template manager and choose this template and set it to default template.

I forgot I switched back to Beez5.
Please, have a look now ( joomla.data-lab.biz )
I guess we have to do something to have all the menu items visible - like it is on your web site.

Exactly! You need to put the mainmenu module into the right position, and other modules also need to be put at the right position.
Please see the map of positions here and you can know the name of positions and where to put modules into:

Is there any "automatic" way to do this?
We are quite new to Joomla face difficulties to manipulate the CMS modules.

There is quickstart demos package in the package you downloaded, named mega_cleanity_quickstart_demo_installation_j2.5.x.zip or mega_cleanity_quickstart_demo_installation_j1.5.x.zip

Just extract this package into public_html/your_new_site_folder, then create a database, then install as you install a standard Joomla!.
After installed you will have the full site as our demos.
