subcategories

hello,
is it possible to create subcategories in this theme? It seems impossible... the subcategories are displayed under the main category, but that is not how we need to...
I need: "main category" link to page with choices between subcategories.

i have made some virtuemart categories and subcategories. In the menu, i see the categories and the subcategories.
I want just the (main)categories in the menu, not the subcategories. When you click on the categories, I want a page where the visitor can choose between the subcategories.

So you just create your menu module and assign to main category for each menu item.
