Slideshow module does not slide when linked to left menu

Ive managed to link the menu to the modules but they dont "slide' like they do in the demo, could you explain how this is done please?

Hi,
The module need to put at homepage/frontpage (actually in the article at homepage). If you choose module to be shown in home menu (in menu assignment), it will appear.

If it does not slide, it may be no content category chosen or maybe js conflict problem.

It is better if we can see your site and figure it out for you.
