Another thing I found is the Virtuemart Categories module on left position is not giving me the correct count of the items in the categories.
If I assign product to one child category, the module does not show it at all (in the count, no problem when clicking).
However if I assign the product to a sub-category AND a parent category, the module shows the count for the parent category AND included that item in ALL the sub-categories.

The count is now showing on the child category, BUT not the parent category.
The parent category all shows (0) still.

Are you sure assign a product to parent category? becos i'm checked it in my site and it's good.

However hopefully it won't cause issue with SEO since that means each product will have two URLs created, one under parent category and one under child category.
