Events?

Are the events listed at the top right tied to some kind of scheduling/ booking component or is that just K2 information with no real additional functionality for say repeating events, booking events etc? Its hard to tell from the design without seeing the admin panel and there is not much of a description associated with the template.

It's k2 module, you can add addition fields from k2 item.
