template installation

I purchased the OT Orthodontis template. I can not get it to install on a web site that already has joomla installed on it. I want the slideshow and the navigation menu to work. put the install of the one that does not say quickstart does not work. The one that does say quickstart messes up the joomla installation that is already there.
can you give the steps involved Please

Hi,
After installed the template, you need put the menu module into "top-nav" position to show it out.
You need install the slideshow module (found in the package) and put it into "slideshow" position.
See here for position system for modules and you will know where to put them.

(The quickstart demo package can not be installed via backend. It is a full site package, see here )
