Category block - should it look like this?

So what I have changes is:
- the description to "Nasze Kategorie" which I did in the tpl file of the module
- background color of the second level categories (it was previously no background color at all, which was at this point white and the text is also white so the effect was => emtptiness), now it is the light brown colorwhich I did in the global css file

But the look of this is not exactly precise and kind a chaotic. The tree + signs are not at the right hight, after pressing the + signs the names are overlapping and so on.
I suppose it should not look like this?
How to fix it?

No. My point is, that the categories block looks somehow chaotic.
For example, the "Noże" subcategories are not in line with the main category "Noże".

I just see how it looks right now as if it should not be like this. And my question is: is it supposed to look like this? If the answer is yes, then it is just my taste. If the anser is "no" then how to fix it?
