OT Print | Joomla Template

I am interested in omegatheme membership for joomla templates and have a few questions.
- How much time you will need to upgrade your templates after Joomla 3.5 is released?
- Is it possible to show the categories instead of the products on the home page of VirtueMart "SHOP STORE" (Similar to the home page of OT PRINT at the top)?

We're upgrading to joomla 3 and it will be available soon. Yes, category will be at the top of template as you want.

I'm not sure if you understood my second question. Is it easily possible to show on this page ( demo.omegatheme.com/joomla25/ot_print/index.php/shop-store ) categories instead of products? Also, if I choose a category, for example ( demo.omegatheme.com/joomla25/ot_print/in...hp/shop-store/camera ) I want to show the subcategories of this category on the right side.
